Bauma China, 2016 will be held on November 22th

Bauma China, a big biennial exhibition in the field of engineering machinery in both China and Asia, is going to be inaugurated on November 22th, 2016. As extension of Bauma Germany, the largest engineering machinery exhibition throughout the world, Bauma China has been held seven times since its introduction in 2002. And now it has become a perfect platform for both international enterprises and Chinese companies to enter bilateral markets.

Stay True, Create Legend

Bauma China, 2016 is themed on “Stay True, Create Legend.” The exhibition space is up to 300,000 square meters this year. Considering the developing features of China’s engineering machinery industry and the growing tendency of global industry, seven major exhibiting themes will be focused on Bauma China, 2016. They are engineering machinery and vehicles, equipment and accessories/ fluid technology, building material machinery, mining and processing of raw materials/ mining machinery, architectural equipment and tools, formwork, scaffolding and outdoor complete machine display area. The exhibition is aimed to expand the display areas where machines are in high demand in the market.

Engineering companies, construction enterprises, contractors, construction materials manufactures, leasing companies, airport groups, mining companies, logistics companies, ports, agricultural machinery dealers and trading companies will be fully covered at this Bauma China. It is expected that nearly 120 purchasing groups at home and abroad will participate in the exhibition, including Russia, India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, Turkey, Australia, Indonesia, Mongolia and many other emerging market and countries with great demand for engineering machinery.

 

The history of Bauma China

The year 2002 witnessed the first exhibition of Bauma China. The number of exhibitors was 458, the visitors were 32068. After Bauma China 2004, the third term of Bauma China (2006) have 1088 exhibitors and 80686 spectators, which was absolutely a leap.

Although the financial crisis happed in 2008, Bauma China still created high record in the scale of the exhibition, the number of exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition area is enlarged by 40%, up to amazingly 210000 square meters in Bauma China, 2008. What’s more, the number of the exhibitors increased by 48%, up to surprisingly 1608. The professional audience turning up at the exhibition was up to 112674, increased by 40%.

By the year of 2010, not only did the scale of the exhibition, the number of the exhibitors and audiences enlarge, but also the eight major pavilions from Austria, Finland, Germany, Britain, Italy, South Korea, Spain and the United States took part in, which highlights the internationalization of the Bauma China Exhibition.  

In 2012, Bauma China made use of both indoor and outdoor pavilions of Shanghai New International Expo Center for the very first time. The space was up to 300000 square meters, 30% larger than it is in 2010. In other words, the area can be compared to 42 football fields, and leading the scale into a totally higher level.

In the seventh term of Bauma China (2014), the exhibition started using business matching system to promote the high efficient contact between audience and exhibitors for the first time. Hundreds of talks at the site were successfully booked by using business matching system. In addition, children were also invited to the exhibition to cultivate their interest in engineering machinery, by which, reflected its sense of social responsibility. 

Bauma China 2016 is coming nearer and nearer. What new record will be created in the number of exhibitors and audience?
